Rotted & Damaged Panel Replacement
Soft spots are the most common subfloor failure in Triangle-area homes — usually caused by a long-term slow leak at a toilet base, shower curb, or dishwasher line. We cut out the damaged OSB or plywood, inspect the joists beneath, and install new panels fastened to spec before any flooring material goes down.
- Full removal of rotted or delaminated OSB/plywood sections

How We Work
Our Subfloor Repair Process
Inspection
We walk the entire subfloor, probe for soft spots, check for rot, measure flatness, and test for moisture.
Structural Repair
Damaged OSB or plywood panels are replaced. Loose sections are fastened to eliminate squeaks and flex.
Leveling
Self-leveling compound fills low spots. High spots are ground down. We verify flatness before proceeding.
Moisture Barrier
Where needed, a vapor barrier or moisture-resistant underlayment is installed as part of the prep.
