How soon after cabinet installation is the countertop installed?

Countertop templating happens immediately after the lower cabinets are permanently secured. Fabrication and installation timeline is confirmed in writing before any material is ordered or work begins.

Do you handle sink cutouts and undermount sink installation?

Yes. Sink cutouts (undermount, drop-in, farmhouse) are done at fabrication. We coordinate templating with the fabricator to ensure the sink opening matches your sink dimensions exactly. Undermount sink mounting and plumbing connection are included in the countertop installation scope.

Can I see the actual slab before fabrication?

Yes. For natural stone (granite, marble), we encourage slab visits at the fabricator's yard before templating so you select the exact piece. Quartz is manufactured consistently, so slab visits are optional but available.

What countertop edge profiles are most popular in Raleigh kitchens?

Eased and beveled edges are the most common — clean, modern, and easy to maintain. Ogee and bullnose profiles work well in traditional or transitional kitchens. Waterfall edges (slab continuing down the island side) are increasingly popular in contemporary renovations. We'll show you profiles during the selection consultation.
